Boston Museum of Science Unveils DtM Exhibit
Today the Boston Museum of Science installed the new Design that Matters exhibit in their Current Science and Technology Center Our first feature project is the Kinakjou Microfilm Projector. Annie Ding, from the Design that Matters club at MIT also helped with the setup, weilding a precision exacto knife to put the finishing touches on the projection screen.

Here is Kinkajou design team member and DtM Field Study veteran Beto Peliks backstage at the Museum with the partially completed display case.

Here is the completed display on the Museum floor, with (L to R) DtM@MIT club President Will DelHagen, DtM cofounder Neil Cantor, Boston University PR Lab team members Ashley Wilemon and Caitlin Strype, Kinkajou team member and DtM Field Study veteran Beto Peliks, DtM cofounder Timothy Prestero, and Art Institute of Boston team member Tyler Kemp-Benedict.

DtM cofounders Prestero and Cantor were invited to give a presentation on the project and the DtM design process that morning at the Museum's Current Science and Technology Center.

The Kinkajou alpha prototype was developed by undergraduates in MIT course 2.009 "Product Engineering Processes" with the sponsorship of the Ford Motor Company, General Motors, United Technologies and the Lemelson Foundation
The Museum of Science exhibit was developed with the sponsorship of the Solidworks Corporation, Testa Hurwitz Thibeault LLP, Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels LLP, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
